Websites for saree shops

Most saree websites lose the sale in the same two places: the customer cannot tell what the fabric actually is, and cannot tell whether the colour will match the photograph. Both are solvable with structure rather than better photography.

What usually goes wrong online in this trade

01

“Soft silk” means nothing on its own

Buyers cannot tell art silk from a blend from natural silk, and vague labelling makes every listing look interchangeable. Naming the composition plainly separates you from sellers who won't.

02

Colour disputes drive most returns

Indian fashion returns run high, and the commonest cause is a shade that looked different on a phone screen. Nobody in this category addresses it on the product page.

03

Customers shop by design code on WhatsApp

Inherited from wholesale practice. Most sites bury the code as a hidden SKU, which forces a round of messages just to identify the piece.

How we build it

What the theme does about it

Not a feature list — each of these exists because of a specific problem above.

  • A ten-line specification on every saree: composition, weave, zari, weight in grams, measured length and width, blouse piece and care

  • A per-product colour note stating how that specific shade photographs

  • Design codes made copyable, searchable, and injected into the WhatsApp message

  • Checkout and WhatsApp presented as equal ways to buy, because a large share of this market will not use a card

  • Honest weave description — powerloom stated as powerloom, with no handloom or GI claim

The theme for this

Complete working storefronts. Open one and use it — the filters, the cart and the product pages are all real.

Questions owners ask us

Can you use my existing product photos?

Yes. The theme ships with generated pattern graphics so the design is complete before photography exists, and swapping in real photos is a data change, not a redesign.

I have 400 sarees. Is that a problem?

No. The catalogue is built to hold thousands with filtering by fabric, occasion, collection and price. Loading 400 items is a data task and we quote it separately from the build.

Will customers still be able to order on WhatsApp?

That is a deliberate feature, not a fallback. The message arrives with the product name, design code and link already filled in, so you can answer in one reply.

Tell us about your shop

What you sell and roughly how many products. We come back with which theme fits, a timeline and a price — before you commit to anything.

Or message +91 73389 72295 on WhatsApp. Either reaches the same person.

We only use this to reply. No newsletter, no sharing.
