Websites for photographers and studios

Every dispute in this trade comes from three unstated things: how many images, by when, and who owns them. All three are easy to publish and rarely are.

What usually goes wrong online in this trade

01

“All the good ones” is not a deliverable

The client expects every frame; you deliver a curated set. Both parties were right, and the argument was built into the booking.

02

Silence during editing

A wedding edit takes weeks. Not saying so up front turns a normal timeline into a client chasing you in week three.

03

Copyright never mentioned

Under Indian law copyright stays with the photographer unless assigned in writing. It surfaces when a magazine or a brand wants to use the images.

How we build it

What the theme does about it

Not a feature list — each of these exists because of a specific problem above.

  • A counted number of fully edited images per package, and the price of extras

  • Turnaround in working days from the shoot — and from layout approval for albums

  • Copyright and usage stated plainly, with personal and social use granted in writing

  • Commercial licensing priced separately, or included where the package is commercial

  • Raw file policy addressed directly rather than avoided

Questions owners ask us

Should we really publish our prices?

For packages, yes. It filters out enquiries that were never going to convert and saves you the calls. Bespoke commercial work can still be quoted.

What if a client insists on raw files?

The theme states the policy so the conversation happens before booking, not after. Licensing them separately is a legitimate option if you choose to offer it.

Is six weeks turnaround bad for business?

It is better than promising one week and delivering in five. The copy defends the honest number, which is also a quality signal.
