Padhukaap
A premium packers-and-movers site built on packing craft — what material protects what, and why it deliberately has no instant price, because a careful move is quoted from a survey, not a dropdown.

Design decisions
Each of these came out of researching how this trade actually sells, not from a style preference.
- 01
The one movers theme in the set that deliberately carries no calculator, with the reason stated on the page: a move judged on packing craft cannot be priced from a dropdown, and a cheap instant figure would undercut the whole proposition. Refusing the estimator is the positioning.
- 02
Having a theme opt out of the calculator proves the feature is a considered choice on the others rather than a default bolted onto every trade. The `calculator?` field being optional is demonstrated, not just claimed.
- 03
Built on material science: it names what protects what — edge boards for glass, corrugated rolls for polished wood, custom crates for stone — which is knowledge only a genuine fine-art mover carries and a customer can immediately tell is real.
- 04
Argues against its own service where it is not the right fit: for ordinary furniture it tells the customer a standard mover is the sensible choice. Turning away work builds more trust than chasing it.
- 05
Handles the premium-price question head-on — yes, it costs more, and here is exactly why — rather than hiding it. Honesty about price is rarer and more persuasive than a discount.
- 06
International packing names the ISPM-15 quarantine standard for crating timber, the specific detail that separates a real export packer from a mover claiming to do it.
- 07
Warm conservator palette — off-white, deep forest green, an editorial Cormorant serif at a generous 1.2 density. Reads like a restorer's studio, the calm opposite of Kaaval's near-black manifest and distinct again from SumaKO's navy.

How it’s built
The specifics matter because they determine what the site costs to run, how fast it is, and whether you can move it later.
- Stack
- Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4
- Rendering
- Fully static export — every route is prerendered HTML, independently crawlable
- JavaScript
- No animation or UI library. Design tokens applied as scoped CSS custom properties
- Accessibility
- Semantic landmarks, labelled controls, visible focus, prefers-reduced-motion honoured
- Hosting
- Deploys to any static host including cPanel shared hosting — no Node runtime required
Suited to
- Fine-art, antique and high-value relocation specialists
- Movers handling pianos, marble, sculpture and instruments
- International and export packing services
- Premium movers who lose on price but win on care, and want the site to say so
What it doesn’t include
Stated up front rather than discovered later.
- This theme intentionally has no instant estimator. If a client wants one, the trade-off should be discussed — it changes the positioning — rather than the feature simply added. SumaKO and Kaaval are the estimator-led options.
- This is a static site. Enquiries route to WhatsApp and the PHP lead endpoint; there is no admin dashboard.
- Material and method descriptions must reflect what the business actually does. Claiming ISPM-15 crating or fine-art handling without the capability would be the dishonest failure this theme is designed to avoid.
- Photography of actual crated pieces and finished packing is the single biggest upgrade for this theme and is essential to the premium proposition — generated graphics only stand in for layout.
- Built on RootPro's theme engine: 5 routes, with this theme's own palette, typefaces, card anatomy and layout variants.
