Oru
A salon site that publishes how long each service takes and who performs it, so a booking is a decision rather than a surprise at the chair.

Design decisions
Each of these came out of researching how this trade actually sells, not from a style preference.
- 01
Every service publishes its duration in minutes, so a client books a slot they can keep instead of discovering a three-hour appointment at the chair.
- 02
Stylist tier is a priced variant rather than an upsell — the client chooses senior or studio before arriving.
- 03
Colour services flag the mandatory 48-hour patch test up front. It is a genuine allergy precaution, and surfacing it prevents same-day disappointment.
- 04
Bridal work is deliberately priced 'by consultation after trial' rather than shown as a package, because no honest fixed price exists for it.
- 05
Shares the booking archetype with the clinic theme and looks nothing like it: 14px radius, warm palette, tile cards, plate hero. Same engine, different world.

How it’s built
The specifics matter because they determine what the site costs to run, how fast it is, and whether you can move it later.
- Stack
- Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4
- Rendering
- Fully static export — every route is prerendered HTML, independently crawlable
- JavaScript
- No animation or UI library. Design tokens applied as scoped CSS custom properties
- Accessibility
- Semantic landmarks, labelled controls, visible focus, prefers-reduced-motion honoured
- Hosting
- Deploys to any static host including cPanel shared hosting — no Node runtime required
Suited to
- Salons and studios with tiered stylists
- Businesses where service duration varies widely
- Anywhere colour or chemical services need a documented patch test
- Studios taking bridal bookings months ahead
What it doesn’t include
Stated up front rather than discovered later.
- No live booking calendar. Appointments route to WhatsApp, which is how most independent salons manage a chair schedule.
- Stylist names and portfolio images are not included. Real photography of actual work is the single biggest upgrade for this trade.
- Bridal pricing is intentionally absent. Adding a fixed package price would be the dishonest option.
- Built on RootPro's theme engine: 5 routes, with this theme's own palette, typefaces, card anatomy and layout variants.
