Design decisions
Each of these came out of researching how this trade actually sells, not from a style preference.
- 01
Written for an overseas buyer building a landed cost: HS code, Incoterm with named port, MOQ expressed as container loads, lead time and available certifications on every line.
- 02
Quote validity is published on commodity lines, so a seven-day price is visibly a seven-day price rather than a number that quietly expires.
- 03
MOQ is expressed as what it actually means — 18 MT is one 20ft container, 1,650 blocks is one 40HC — which is how importers think.
- 04
Flags one line as genuinely handloom and explicitly states the claim is not applied to the rest, which is the same discipline as the saree theme.
- 05
First theme aimed outside India: navy on near-white, Space Grotesk over IBM Plex, lattice rows at 0.95 density — a trade document, not a shopfront.

How it’s built
The specifics matter because they determine what the site costs to run, how fast it is, and whether you can move it later.
- Stack
- Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4
- Rendering
- Fully static export — every route is prerendered HTML, independently crawlable
- JavaScript
- No animation or UI library. Design tokens applied as scoped CSS custom properties
- Accessibility
- Semantic landmarks, labelled controls, visible focus, prefers-reduced-motion honoured
- Hosting
- Deploys to any static host including cPanel shared hosting — no Node runtime required
Suited to
- Exporters of spices, pulses and agri commodities
- Coir, fibre and handicraft exporters
- Wholesalers quoting FOB and CIF to overseas buyers
- Anyone whose enquiries currently arrive without enough detail to quote
What it doesn’t include
Stated up front rather than discovered later.
- IEC, APEDA and FSSAI registration numbers are placeholders and must be verified before publishing.
- Prices and specifications are sample data. Commodity pricing must come from the current market, and quote validity should be enforced.
- No multi-currency or freight calculator. Freight varies too much to publish; the theme routes to a quote instead.
- Built on RootPro's theme engine: 5 routes, with this theme's own palette, typefaces, card anatomy and layout variants.
