Design decisions
Each of these came out of researching how this trade actually sells, not from a style preference.

Every price carries its unit — per piece, per kg, per metre, per bag — because a hardware price without a unit cannot be compared between shops.

Specs lead with size, grade and the IS standard where one applies. 'Heavy duty' is treated as not a specification.

GST rate is shown per line and excluded from the displayed price, matching how trade buyers actually calculate input credit.
- 04
Commodity lines (cement, TMT steel) are flagged as rate-varying rather than shown at a fixed price that goes stale.
- 05
Uppercase industrial display face, zero radius and 0.85 density: a datasheet, not a catalogue. Reads fast on a phone at a site.
