Design decisions
Each of these came out of researching how this trade actually sells, not from a style preference.
- 01
Publishes garment measurements in inches per size — bust, waist, hip, length — instead of a letter, which is the single largest cause of fashion returns in India.
- 02
Teaches the buying method in the copy: measure a garment you already own, not your body. That is how experienced online shoppers actually buy.
- 03
Stitching status is a first-class field, so an unstitched set cannot be mistaken for a ready garment days before a function.
- 04
States that linen creases and cotton shrinks 2–3% — normal fabric behaviour pre-empted as expectation rather than argued as a warranty claim.
- 05
Says whether a garment has seam allowance to let out, because 'can this be altered' decides the purchase for many buyers.

- Garment photography on a body is essential for this trade and is not included.
